IF the decedent died leaving minor children – then there should have been a “guardianship” case filed with the county’s Circuit (aka Chancery) Court. The court-appointed “Guardian” was always male, and most-often was a close relative of the deceased or his widow. If there was a guardianship case filed for minor children… that case file should provide his specific death date and death locale… which could lead to his burial location.Copyright © 2014 by Kevin W. This one actually came to me as advice from professional researcher Molly Kennedy whom I have used many times with great success. She is working with me trying to find the death place and burial site of my 3xg-grandfather, who died before the county and state kept death records --
